文法重點(五) ：花錢、花時間
這個重點的考點在於「主詞」，主詞是人就優先思考spend和pay，主詞不是人就優先思考take和cost，接下來才開始考慮句型的變化。
1. spend (spent-spent) 花費時間或金錢
句型：spend 金錢 / 時間 on N / V-ing
例句：Lorain suggests that you should spend at a least 15 minutes a day studying English. (Lorain建議你應該每天至少讀十五分鐘的英文)
例句：Thomas spent all his savings on his new house. (Thomas把所有的存款都花在他的新房子上)
2. take (took-taken) 花費時間或精力
句型 ：It takes / took 人 + 時間 to V
例句：It usually takes me 10 minutes to walk to school. (我通常花十分鐘走路上學)
句型：N / V-ing takes / took 人 + 時間
例句：Cooking dinner took Jennifer half an hour. (煮晚餐花了Jennifer半小時)
3. cost (cost-cost) 表示事物價值多少錢，也有付出代價的意思
句型 ：It costs/ cost 人+ 金錢 to V
例句：Studying abroad will cost Joe a lot of money, so he plans to borrow some money from bank. (出國讀書會花掉Joe很多的錢，所以他打算跟銀行借點錢)
句型：N / V-ing costs / cost 人 + 金錢
例句：Be careful! The vase might cost you an arm and a leg. (小心點，這個花瓶所費不貲啊！)
4. pay (paid-paid) 支付金額或帳單
句型 ：人 pay/ paid 金錢 for N
例句：How much should I pay for the movie tickets? (我要付多少錢買電影票？)
