今(2021)年的元宵節思革英語舉辦了英文猜燈謎活動，過程中比較細心的小朋友有發現到，英文的猜謎遊戲好像很喜歡玩雙關語(puns)，其實英文的電影、笑話或文章裡也時常會運用這樣的同音字或多義字來表達幽默或諷刺，這樣大玩弦外之音的幽默方式也時常被使用在中文，就以燈謎為例，「狼來了！」猜一種水果，答案是楊桃，狼來了羊群會逃跑，取其諧音便成了楊桃(羊逃)了。接下來跟大家分享這次元宵節活動所使用的30題英文燈謎，想動動腦挑戰一下的話，先不要把答案點開來喔！

1. 「最熱情的水果」 (猜一個英文單字)
Answer: passion fruit 百香果
(passion 有熱情的意思，fruit 是水果)
2.「牆壁上的堅果」(猜一個英文單字)
Answer: walnut 核桃
(wal 音同 wall 牆壁，nut 是堅果)
3. 「士兵們最不喜歡的月份」 (猜一個英文單字)
Answer: March 三月
(March 也有行軍的意思)
